Two goats and a turkey

Farm Visit and Ice Cream Lehigh Valley PA

For years we have been visiting the Farm Stand near Easton PA at Klein Farm for their raw milk and delicious cheeses.  Now they’ve seriously upped their game with a beautiful new building and the addition of house-made ice cream!  On our first visit we tried the chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and coffee flavors – all delicious!  They use all natural ingredients, fresh local milk and no artificial colorants.  Picnic tables outside are the perfect spot to enjoy your treat. It takes going for ice cream to a whole new level.

In the farm store you can stock up on their own raw milk, cheeses and yogurt as well as a nice selection of baked goods, and local eggs, meats, honey, maple syrup and produce in season from partner farms.  We are partial to the bacon cheddar cheese and drinkable yogurt.

To make it even more fun for the youngest (and young at heart) in your group they have several farm animals in pens near the store. During our visit the turkey was showing off his plumes and the ponies and goats were putting on a happy show. A variety of very interesting looking chickens had us intrigued and trying to guess their breeds. There’s also a small playground where kids can let off a little steam.

If you’re looking for a farm visit in Lehigh Valley PA make sure you add this one to your list. Located at 401 Klein Road the farm is just a couple of miles north of downtown Easton, PA. The store is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with ice cream available 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. The countryside surrounding the farm is beautiful and lends itself to a nice “Sunday Drive” any day of the week and any season. A true family farm that has passed down for several generations, this place is the real deal.
