How to Spend Your Day at Dorney Park
Reach New Speeds on Roller Coasters
This amusement park is home to seven adrenaline-rushing roller coasters. Start easy with Woodstock, a family-friendly roller coaster, then take things up a notch on Hydra, the park’s only floorless roller coaster. Steel Force is recognized as one of the best steel coasters in the world and features 205 feet drop and reaches speeds of 75 miles per hour!
Take a Ride That Will Make Your Heart Race
Whether you’re a child or an adult, you’re in a remarkable time when you hop aboard the thrill rides at Dorney Park. On The Meteor, the journey starts slow, swinging riders back and forth on swinging pendulums. Then it propels you into the sky through 360-degree loops and reaches heights of 65 feet. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be suspended from a 10-story building? This is precisely what you’ll feel on the Demon Drop. This elevator-style ride first dangles you from 60 feet in the air; then, you’ll experience free-fall as you plummet downward.
Make Your Children Smile at Planet Snoopy
The kids-themed section of the park, Planet Snoopy, features 16 rides, fun-filled live performances, and a Family Care Center equipped with nursing rooms, diaper changing stations, and a Multi-Sensory and Calming Room. Sally’s Swing Set let’s young riders swing back and forth on an oversized playground as they gently accelerate and reach greater heights. Snoopy’s Junction is a peaceful locomotive train that takes children and parents around the entire Planet Snoopy area.
Get Wet at Wildwater Kingdom
If you’re visiting this park during the hot summer months, you’ll be thankful that you can cool off at Wildwater Kingdom. This water park features water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and relaxing cabanas. Do you have what it takes to slide down the Python Plummet? This water slide towers at 65 feet and features a transparent chamber that suddenly drops out from beneath your feet and launches you along a high-speed vertical fall and into a series of loops and curves at an unbelievable speed of 26 feet per second.
Stay tuned for the newest addition coming to the park later in 2020, Seaside Splashworks. This beach-themed multi-level play structure will feature more than 75 attractions and elements that will entertain the whole family. Items include interactive spray jets, oversized water cannons, a giant 317-gallon bucket that tips over and drenches you, a splash zone for toddlers, and more!
