The Giving Pond
In addition to trails and the canal, the state park is also home to Giving Pond. This 90-acre body of water used to be a sand and gravel quarry. Today, it’s a recreation area where visitors can enjoy boating (boats must be non-motorized, such as kayaks and paddleboards), fishing, and birding.
