We are giving the COVID-19 situation the serious attention that it requires, and we want to continue to do our part to protect you, our guests, and ourselves during this pandemic. As Pennsylvania cautiously and thoughtfully works its way toward being fully open, we are actively doing our part here at the Lafayette Inn. We have created this page to answer any questions you may have and to post up to the minute changes to our status here at the Lafayette Inn.
Per PA Governor Wolf’s mandates, hotels are considered essential businesses and have been able to remain open for those who need them. As of June 5, our county is entering the “yellow” phase meaning that restaurants may be open for outdoor dining and some retail shops are permitted to open.
We are dedicated to protecting your health and safety.
Cleanliness and sanitary practices have always been a priority at our inn. We have adopted the best practices set forth by Select Registry and PABBI and modified our breakfast service to eliminate self-serve options. Guests have the option of enjoying their morning breakfast in their comfy room or at individual, well-spaced tables in our common areas. Should you have any concerns or special requests during your stay, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We have earned Select Safe, Stay Select status, an industry-leading set of health and safety guidelines based on recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other industry leaders. For more information on the guidelines required for Select Safe, Stay Select status, please click here.
*Despite enhanced safety practices, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people gather.
