Lafayette Inn Teams with Tesla Motors
Tesla Destination Charging now offered as new amenity for guests
Easton, Pennsylvania – April 19, 2016 – Lafayette Inn has teamed up with Tesla Motors to provide an increasingly desirable amenity; Tesla Destination Charging. Tesla High Power Wall Connectors add 58 miles of range per hour to Model S, charging the vehicle overnight and replicating the convenience Tesla owners are accustomed to at home.
Lafayette Inn seeks to provide visitors to the area with stress-free recharging whether they’re visiting for the day or staying at the inn to experience all the area has to offer. Easton has seen a surge of interest in local food, sustainability and eco-friendly activities and this historic property that strives to provide guests with every modern amenity is leading the way.
Lafayette Inn joins a rapidly growing network of resorts in Tesla Destination Charging.This new program offers High Power Connectors as an amenity for visitors, allowing them to charge their Tesla Model S at locations where they want to stay for several hours like hotels, ski resorts, and restaurants. Model S offers 270 miles of range on a single charge so the High Power Wall Connector can easily top off the Tesla in just a few hours, giving Tesla drivers the freedom to charge almost anywhere they want to travel! (Lafayette Inn has one 80A Tesla Wall Connector and one Clipper connector; overnight guests charge for free and non-guests can charge for $15.)
Lafayette Inn and other Tesla Destination Charging locations are hosted on Tesla’s interactive webpage and will soon be GPS located on Model S’ navigation through a free software update sent wirelessly to the car.
